Linda Carter is the Principal of Texas Benefit Solutions, Inc., a regional agency which strives to deliver greater client satisfaction through superior customer service. Linda has over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, her diverse knowledge is the result of working with national carriers and later as an independent agent. Linda began her career with a national insurance carrier in Austin where she specialized in HMO products. During her tenure she was instrumental in integrating HMO and indemnity products as well as creating and managing a unit to comply with Texas small group healthcare reform laws. Linda left in 1999 to become an independent agent with The Romine Group, Inc., where her clients ranged in size from 2 to 1,000 employees. The Romine Group was later acquired by Gallagher Benefit Services. Linda saw a need not being addressed by large agencies, so in 2007 she left and established Texas Benefit Solutions, Inc., a full service benefits firm which focuses on helping small employers and their employees navigate benefits. Linda lives in Gonzales with her family and serves her community as a Commissioner on the Emergency Services board.
